Featherweight contender Michael Conlan is on the brink of making a crucial decision regarding his boxing comeback. After a loss to Jordan Gil last year, Conlan has shifted his training to join Grant Smith at the Steel City Gym in Sheffield, aiming for another shot at a world title.
"Inching closer to a decision, I'm in talks with various promoters, hoping to have everything sorted before Christmas," shared the determined Irish athlete. Despite recent setbacks and personal challenges, Conlan, with an 18-3 record, remains focused on his goal without rushing his comeback or calling out specific opponents.
Reflecting on his journey, Conlan emphasized, "I'm not here to chase names. I have my goals set, and becoming a world champion is the ultimate dream. I'm mentally prepared and ready to make the necessary moves to achieve that. Boxing is tough, but my belief in myself and my abilities drives me forward."
