VIDEO: Shakur Stevenson vs Ryan Garcia Talk is Premature
“I really wanna fight Shakur”. These were the words of Ryan Garcia in a recent interview with Mike Coppinger on The Ring Magazine YouTube channel. When Coppinger insisted we also need the Haney rematch too, Garcia elaborated, “No, I know, but that’s always gonna be there, though. But that’s who I want to fight. I want to go from Barrios to Shakur.” All of this speculation ahead of Garcia’s upcoming fight on February 21, when he challenges WBC welterweight champion Mario Barrios.
