Tszyu to Face Fundora in WBO Title Defense: Thurman Out with Injury
In a sudden turn of events, Tim Tszyu's upcoming fight for the WBO title will no longer be against Keith Thurman, who has withdrawn due to injury. Instead, Tszyu will now square off against Sebastian Fundora in the main event of the Prime Video pay-per-view on March 30th at the T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas.
Thurman's exit from the bout comes as a result of an injured biceps, leaving the scheduled headliner in doubt. However, Tszyu's team has petitioned for the WBO 154-pound title to be on the line for the new main event, which is currently under review.
Fundora, ranked No. 4 at 154, steps in to replace Thurman, with the fight being a significant opportunity for both fighters. Notably, Fundora's last fight ended in a stunning defeat to Brian Mendoza, making this matchup crucial for his career redemption.
Meanwhile, Tszyu aims to defend his WBO title against a formidable opponent in Fundora, seeking to solidify his status as a top contender in the junior middleweight division.

As preparations for the event continue, fans eagerly anticipate the clash between Tszyu and Fundora, which promises to deliver fireworks in the ring.
