Puerto Rican boxer Subriel Matias (20-1, 20 KOs) has inked a multi-fight co-promotional deal with Eddie Hearn’s Matchroom and Fresh Productions, aiming to continue his reign as the IBF Super-Lightweight champion.   Matias captured the vacant IBF title last February by forcing Jeremias Ponce to retire after five rounds in Minnesota. He followed up with a successful defense against mandatory challenger Shohjahon Ergashev in November, securing another retirement victory, this time after six rounds in Las Vegas.
