On Valentine’s Day inside The Theater at Madison Square Garden, Keyshawn Davis (13-0, 9 KO, 1 NC) earned a gift he has worked for his entire life: world championship gold. A few weeks before his 26th birthday, Davis won the WBO lightweight championship by knocking out the previously unbeaten Denys Berinchyk (19-1, 9 KO) in the fourth round.
