WBC Interim junior middleweight champion Vergil Ortiz, Jr. (24-0, 22 KOs) stopped the former WBC Silver Super Welterweight champion Erickson ‘The Hammer’ Lubin (27-3, 19 KOs) in the second round on Saturday night at the Dickies Arena in Fort Worth, Texas. The contest was halted at 1:30 of the second round of a scheduled 12 rounds.
