According to promoter Eddie Hearn, the former two-time heavyweight champion is more likely to return to the ring in January or February 2026, with talks ongoing for a blockbuster site deal in Ghana. Hearn also confirmed Joshua’s next outing will serve as a “warm-up” before the big roll of the dice — ideally against Tyson Fury, but if not, another top-five heavyweight.
